We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager / Assistant Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management with clinical insight to lead end-to-end RCM operations for a portfolio of healthcare clients. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of billing and reimbursement workflows, understands clinical documentation requirements, and has a track record of leading teams in a client-facing, compliance-driven environment.

Senior Manager / Assistant Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management

Work Week:
Monday to Friday

Shift Window:
US hours (Flexible to cater to leadership/client requirements)

Responsibilities:

  • Support new client onboarding, including EHR/PM system integrations, process documentation, and revenue cycle audits.
  • Oversee the full revenue cycle lifecycle for multiple healthcare clients, including patient access workflows, charge entry, coding, billing, AR follow-up, payment posting, and denial management.
  • Serve as a senior point of contact for client organizations (e.g., physician groups, behavioural health clinics, ambulatory networks), building trusted relationships with both administrative and clinical stakeholders.
  • Align internal RCM operations with each client’s unique care delivery model, documentation practices, and compliance obligations.
  • Monitor KPIs across clients and proactively identify revenue leakage, process inefficiencies, and denial patterns — delivering actionable insights and monthly executive reporting.
  • Provide subject-matter expertise on payer policy changes, Medicare/Medicaid regulations, and clinical coding best practices (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS).
  • Collaborate with internal legal/compliance teams to ensure services meet HIPAA, CMS, OIG, and contractual obligations.
  • Lead operational improvement initiatives using automation, workflow optimization, and process redesign strategies.
  • Mentor and develop RCM leaders and teams, fostering a high-performance, client-first culture.

 

Qualifications/Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or Clinical field (Master’s preferred).
  • 7–10+ years of progressive leadership in revenue cycle management, preferably in an outsourced billing or healthcare consulting firm.
  • Clinical experience or licensure (e.g., RN, LPN, RT) strongly preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of payer contracting, reimbursement methodologies, medical necessity, and documentation standards.
  • Proven track record managing multi-client revenue cycle portfolios with varying specialties and payer mixes.
  • Experience with RCM platforms (e.g., Kareo, AdvancedMD, Athena, NextGen, DrChrono, Epic), clearinghouses, and analytics tools.
  • Professional certifications such as CRCE, CPC, CHC, or CMRS are a plus.
