We are currently looking for a QA Engineer to join HRC focused on Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) technology automations and solutions.

Important: HealthRecon Connect currently operates under a hybrid work arrangement, with the number of remote workdays varying by team. However, depending on client deliverables and business needs, employees may be required to work on-site for all five weekdays.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to understand business workflows and make sure requirements are testable and clearly defined from a quality standpoint.
  • Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases across different testing types including integration, system, and regression testing based on project requirements.
  • Play an active role in client onboarding by validating system setups, custom configurations, and overall behavior against agreed business needs and technical specs.
  • Identify, log, and track bugs from discovery to resolution, working hand-in-hand with developers and project managers to ensure fast fixes and high-quality delivery.
  • Test system behavior in complex enterprise environments, paying close attention to performance, edge cases, and how well components work together.
  • Create and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Java when needed bonus points if you’re already hands-on with automation.
  • Carry out API testing using Postman and performance testing using JMeter experience here is a strong plus.
  • Make sure releases meet quality standards before and after deployment, supporting smooth rollouts by collaborating with DevOps and support teams during go-live.
  • Help improve testing processes, introduce better test strategies, and follow best practices that keep up with project speed and compliance needs.
  • Be a quick learner, someone who grabs things fast, adapts easily, and isn’t afraid to jump into new tools, features, or teams as needed.
  • Stay flexible and responsive and able to switch contexts between projects and teams without missing a beat.

 

Qualifications/Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in software testing, with strong expertise in manual testing methodologies and processes.
  • ISTQB (CTFL) certification will be considered an added advantage.
  • Proven experience in implementation projects, preferably in enterprise or client-facing environments — experience in onboarding, configuration validation, and production rollouts is a strong advantage.
  • Solid understanding of the software development and implementation lifecycle (SDLC/SCLC), with the ability to align testing activities across project phases.
  • Experience designing and executing test cases for integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Familiarity with API testing using Postman and performance testing with JMeter.
  • Hands-on experience or working knowledge of test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Java-based frameworks — ability to write and maintain automation scripts is highly valued.
  • Strong bug tracking and reporting skills using tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar issue management systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and client stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and a proactive approach to quality assurance.
  • Quick learner who adapts easily to new technologies, workflows, and fast-paced project demands.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Prior experience in healthcare, fintech, or other regulated industries is a plus, but not required.
