Colombo, Sri Lanka – HealthRecon Connect (Pvt) Ltd, a leading provider of technology-enabled Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) solutions, has officially entered into a strategic partnership with NSBM Green University through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on July 23, 2025.
The MoU was signed by Mr. Dilupa Hapuarachchi, Vice President – HR Operations at HealthRecon Connect, and Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of NSBM, in a formal ceremony held at NSBM Green University. The partnership marks a significant step in strengthening industry-academia collaboration, innovation, and career development pathways for undergraduates.
This collaboration will facilitate internships, knowledge sharing, graduate recruitment, corporate and employer brand building, as well as entrepreneurial incubation opportunities. It is aligned with HealthRecon Connect’s mission to nurture future-ready talent and contribute to the professional growth of Sri Lanka’s youth.
The event was attended by key representatives from both institutions, including Ms. Thilini De Silva, Dean – Faculty of Business; Dr. Rasika Ranaweera, Dean – Faculty of Computing; and Ms. Sherein Abeygoonasekara, Career Guidance Officer from NSBM. From HealthRecon Connect, attendees included Ms. Manushi Silva – Assistant Manager, Employee Relations; Mr. Narendra Daraniyagalage – Manager, HR; Mr. Faisal Tahir – Manager, Talent Acquisition; and Mr. Varun Chandramohan – Senior Manager, Corporate Communications.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Hapuarachchi emphasized, “This partnership is a testament to our continued commitment to building a skilled workforce through meaningful collaboration with academic institutions.”
This MoU will serve as the foundation for multiple joint initiatives over the coming years and paves the way for NSBM students to connect with real-world career experiences, mentorship, and professional growth opportunities within the global healthcare RCM sector.
