Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable server-side architecture and business logic.
- Develop responsive and accessible front-end components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).
- Build and integrate RESTful or GraphQL APIs to ensure seamless communication between client-side and server-side components.
- Design and manage SQL and NoSQL databases, including schema modeling, indexing, and performance tuning.
- Optimize application performance through caching, lazy loading, load balancing, and query optimization techniques.
- Write clean, modular, and reusable code adhering to coding standards and design patterns.
- Implement comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using tools such as JUnit, Jest, or Cypress.
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, QA engineers, and other developers in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Document technical designs, architecture diagrams, workflows, and deployment procedures for future reference.
- Utilize version control tools like Git and follow GitFlow or trunk-based development workflows.
- Familiar with Java and backend development using Spring Boot or similar frameworks.
- Apply security best practices (e.g., input validation, encryption, authentication/authorization).
Qualifications/Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Over 2-3 years of experience in software engineering both back end and/or front end
- Experience or knowledge of micro services architecture.
- Experience of working on any one of the main cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP or OCP.
- Knowledge of web application security methodologies such as OAuth2, Open Sign, Key Cloak.
- Experience in designing, modelling and development of databases using SQL server, MSSQL/MySQL.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to grasp new technologies, concepts quickly and willingness to learn.
