Specialist – Finance

Work Week:
Monday to Friday

Shift Window:
8:00 AM to 5:00 PM SLST (Day Shift)

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain systems for financial records keeping efficiently and accurately.
  • Conduct the administration of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting functions.
  • Monitor the accounts receivable and accounts payable.
  • Manage the external and internal audits, liaising with tax consultants for meeting the statutory requirements timely.
  • Prepare monthly management information reports timely.
  • Compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial data as required.
  • Assist annual budgeting and forecasting in accordance with company finance and performance management-related frameworks.

 

Qualifications/Criteria:

  • Graduate in Accounting / Finance management from a university.
  • Partly qualified in CA or CIMA.
  • Experience in accounting software.
  • Minimum 3 to 4 years of finance & accounting experience out of which at least one year in the commercial sector would be an advantage.
  • Fair understanding in interpreting the SLAS, IFRS Accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Attention to details.
  • Work tight deadlines.
